Начальная страница : Andrews mentioned that his new Bauera species had “much the appearance of a Rubus” and used the epithet as rubioides. If the new species were to resemble a Rubus species, then his epithet should be corrected to “ruboides”. However, the plate 198 resembles a Rubia species, and therefore, the published epithet rubioides is correct. This assertion was also mentioned by Sims (Curtis's Bot. Mag. 19: t. 715. 1804): The trivial name (rubioides) is derived from the resemblance which it bears, especially in its young state, to a Rubia, not a Rubus, as Mr. Andrews, with his usual accuracy, would have it.”
